So we all know that Sunset Bowl is slated to close in April, and it will likely face the wrecking ball to make room for luxury apartments. But now an avid bowler by the name of Jim Bristow is trying to get together an investment group to save the bowling alley. His idea: there’s room for both the apartments as well as a bowling alley. Bristow says he’s called the property’s new owners, Avalon, but has yet to hear back. Meanwhile, the city says it has yet to receive any development plans from Avalon, so stay tuned on this one, too…

Even IF they tear it down to make way for Apts, would it be so much to ask to make the ground level a new and improved Sunset Bowl?
