First annual Ballard-Fremont tech fair

Posted by Geeky Swedes on March 13th, 2008

You might not think of Ballard and Fremont as as tech corridor, but it is. “There are lots of interesting tech companies in the ship canal tech corridor — the Silicon Canal? — that would be great to surface at a tech event,” writes Seattle Times tech blogger Brier Dudley. Sure enough, coming on March 18th, Ballard’s NautilusNet.com is throwing the first annual Ballard-Fremont Technology Fair, sponsored by Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, Intel and more. Microsoft is even planning to show up with its “Microsoft Across America Truck,” which is a little funny given Google’s big presence in Fremont.

Anyway, for the Geeky Swedes, this tech fair is exciting news, and we’re sending in our RSVP. If you want to go, please email: techfair@nautilusnet.com.

  • There, just updated with the RSVP email.
  • Peter, we're having the same problem, our email just bounced. Lemme try to get it clarified and I'll post...

Hey John, might be a great place for you to make contacts...
    just a thought.

What's the RSVP address? It looks like TechFair@Net....something. For a company so connected to internet business, Nautilusnet kind of blew it posting a static image like that. A hyperlink would have been nice...
  • I thought about it, but, it doesn't look like a job fair, which is what I really need. Oh well.
