The Aleutian Ballad, the ship featured in the Discovery Channel show “The Deadliest Catch” is welcoming visitors today (Thursday) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The 107-foot former Bering Sea crabber is stopping at Shilshole Bay Marina on her way to Ketchikan. Once in Alaska the crew will start taking passengers on an educational reality tour. The ship has been remodeled for passengers’ safety and comfort. There’s even a heated amphitheater to watch as the crew works with all the gear.
