the sandwiches are to die for yummy--- and at only $4.50 a pop, you can't beat the price. :)

we'll have to try the sandwiches some time, but we're positively stuck on #20 - great place, been back numerous times
  • We went the other night & really enjoyed it! =)
  • some guy
went several days after they opened, need to go back now that they have been open a while. was good when we went, need more vege options. creative cocktails (ala thaiku) would be a welcome addition.

My friend and I thought it was delicious but ended up with mild cases of food poisoning soon after. Also saw firetrucks there the other day while the kitchen was on fire. I'll definitely try again in a few months when the kinks are worked out.
  • I arrived a little late after my friends had already ordered, so decided to just let the waitress choose for me. I ended up with Vietnamese style pork chops. Delicious and a great price to go with it.

Everyone else seemed to have ordered the #20, so will have to try that next time.

Great food, reasonable prices. Ginger chicken was wonderful as was the Monkey Bridge noodles (might have been #20).

Had a staff lunch there and planning another.
Our experience always good. Beautifully presented and oh so flavorful. Wish I could tear myself away from #20 to try those sandwiches! Will just have to order both ...
  • I went there last night for the first time. I had the chicken curry and it was so incredibly delicious, I'd say twice as good as Thai curry. The flavors are wonderful. I can't wait to go again. Our friends love #20.

Yup, the #20 is killa! This place is killa. Great food. Great prices. It's the default answer to "where should we go?"

Finally! Ballard has a good Vietnamese restaurant. I've been there only once but I highly recommend their pho and dumpling soup. Their soup broth is very flavorful. So much better than other pho restaurants.

Went there last night but was not impressed. Food was mediocre. I had the clay pot pork and it was only mildly better than the teriyaki you can get all over town for half the price. I would not say the food was bad but I don't see any reason to hurry back there anytime soon except to try out the sandwiches which may be a better value.

Food is great with a great price. Had lunch there with a friend, saw some high chairs so though it would be a good place to bring toddler. Not so good for that. Service is very polite, but slow because there were only 2 people in the front of the house on a busy thursday night. We were also the only ones with a child there (sign that others have learned before me?) Most flavorful food at a restaurant that I've had in a long time though. I will definitely get takeout still.

great veggie pho. i no longer go to Than because this place has good prices, great service and is significantly better.
  • CM
Ugh. Got takeout and they messed up the order, the food was mediocre, and when we opened the third dish we found a giant hair wrapped up among the tofu. We won't be going back again.

Great food. Their ingredients are really fresh, their food tastes healthy.
  • miruna
The best pho I've had, and the chicken curry is delicious. The decor is very tasteful, too.

This place is a little too pricey for noodle soups( aka Pho). The portions are a little bit too small and the service was ...eh... Ok. However, the sandwiches r pretty good.

Wish I could get beyond the name of the place. Anyone who's been to Asia and had the misfortune of coming upon the delicacy of monkey brain--served with the live monkey chattled in the middle of a table for the diners to partake of--oh, god. Change the name of this restaurant.
