while the service can be hit or miss, the food is quite good— along with the best fresh squeezed OJ in Ballard. stay away from the coffee though. no. really. i mean it. *shudder*

Get the Ballard Scramble. Best thing on the menu!

when we are headed out of town and we need a breakfast that will last for the first 5 miles of trail without reaching for a granola bar or stopping to dig through the backpack for something to snack on, Veras is the answer.

I have a soft place in my heart for Veras. It’s a diner. It’s good.

But if it’s too crowded or whatever, walk a couple blocks down to the Salmon Bay Cafe.

I love good ol’ diners and Vera’s is just that. No surprises. You know exactly what kind of food is on the menu and its done just right. Try the Eggs Benedict - you’ll be surprised at how good their’s is!

Typical of a diner. The cash only policy is quite inconvenient!

    Two words: Over priced.
We ate at brunch at Volterra for the same price!
