Call it the mother of all radio promotions. KEXP (which is our favorite station, by the way) is taking over Ballard this Friday. Live broadcasts begin at 7 a.m. from Cupcake Royale/Verite Coffee with Seattle’s own Common Market, one of the West Coast’s best hip hop groups. At 11 a.m., the live broadcast moves to Sonic Boom. Then after 6 p.m., DJs and bands will be spread out across the neighborhood: Conor Byrne, Hazelwood, Hattie’s Hat, Tin Hat, Portalis, Tigertail, Blamar, Sunset Tavern and Tractor Tavern.
