I was on a walk and spoke with the owner. He told me that morning three men in their mid-twenties broke a statue he had set up and also tried to steal some firefighter helmets he had set up.
They ended up throwing the helmets in the street after they saw him running after them.
He told me that every time he sets up his memorial somebody ends up vandalizing. Sad.
