Gasoline isn’t the only fuel that’s skyrocketing in price. Dan Freeman from Dr. Dan’s Alternative Fuelwerks in Ballard told the Seattle Times that his biodiesel business is down so dramatically that he may have to sell part of his operation. Biofuel prices have jumped to $6 a gallon, and Metro Transit says it’s “taking an indefinite pause” in buying the renewable fuel.
