We don’t typically report on suicides or suicide attempts, but this one occurred in broad daylight on a busy street. Seattle Police responded to the NOMA condos on Monday morning after receiving reports that someone had jumped off the building. Engine 18 and Medic unit 18 were also dispatched to the corner of 56th St. and 24th Ave. Police say it was an attempted suicide. The man was transported to the hospital. Due to health privacy laws, we’re unable to learn his condition (or if he survived). Very sad. (Thanks Denise for the tip.)
