Big car show in Greenwood this Saturday

Called the “granddaddy” of Seattle collector car shows, the annual Greenwood Car Show is this Saturday. Last year, 20,000 people jammed Greenwood Ave. from 70th to 87th St. for the big event. While the vintage and muscle cars always draw a crowd, this year a showcase of alternative fuel cars — from electric to biodiesel — certainly will be a popular addition. There will also be local bands playing at 79th St. as well as entertainment for the kids up and down the Ave. Starts at 10 a.m. and runs to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
