My Ballard reader David sent us a photo of the curb in front of the Ballard Trio condos on 59th St. near 24th Ave. He says the curb was painted yellow to restrict parking “down the entire block” on Monday.

“When they were apartments for the past 30 years, only 20 percent of the curb was restricted,” he says. “This will take away 30+ parking spaces two blocks from the retail core.” Parking is certainly getting more difficult in Central Ballard, especially during the “Ballard on the Park” construction project.
