Some new businesses are beginning to appear in the retail space in the bottom floor of the Canal Station condos along Leary at 20th Avenue. On the corner is “Source,” a salon and spa under construction. And they’re hiring.
Just down from the spa and the newly opened Emerald City Smoothie is Belle Pastry, also under construction. “With a little detective work I have discovered that this is the same is the Bellevue Belle Pastry owned by Norman chef Jean-Claude Ferré, a 40 year vet, who was trained in France and Switzerland,” reports Keith at the Ballardite Blog. Mmmm.
