  • For your information, John Burbank owns the company "Economic Opportunity Institute (EOI)" http://www.eoionline.org/ "EOI helps to problem-solve the fundamental issues of middle class life, such as health coverage, education, retirement security, and early childhood education. " He has employees and pays for insurance on them.

Sure I have a solution, don't vote for Burbank the whack job leftist, vote for the guy who's actually worked for a living.

See, that's the thing, QABelle. Suthii doesn't have to offer any solutions. He's content to be an ill-tempered gadfly, full of scorn for anyone else's concerns, with no answers of his own. His kind are all too common, I"m afraid.
  • QABelle
One you don't know that, and two what would be a better, realistic funding solution then?
  • suthii
The kiddies would be lucky to a penny of that 10 c. Tax collection by nickle and diming us is the most inefficient way to collect revenue and would be gobbled up by bureacrats hired to collect and emforce the tax. Of course, having proudly never worked in the private sector what would Burbank know about efficiency? All he knows is how to create bureaucrats and stifle business.....you know the folks who actually employ most people.
  • QABelle
Sure Burbank was the guy behind the latte tax, but is it really such a sacrifice to pay 10 cents more on your latte if kids have a safe and engaging environment to learn in?

  • Suthii
What, you can't ridicule politicians now?
  • db
Rather than yet more pointless snark, why don't you just tell us why you think the candidate YOU support is better?
  • Suthii
"Get ready for a lot more signs around the neighborhood.?"

Maybe John 'Sir Tax a lot' Burbank can tax the signs 10 cents a pop? Surely that would should be enough to create lots o' social justice.
