Ssshhhh! Secret comedy show on Friday

Posted by Geeky Swedes on August 27th, 2008

Some pretty funny comedians are coming to Bumbershoot this year and some of them are putting on a pre-event comedy show Friday night at Lo-Ball (2220 NW Market, lower level). Sadly, we don’t know which comedians will be there. (They have non-compete clauses in their contracts that prevent them to advertise the show.) But we’re told some national acts will stop by Lo-Ball and perform an all-ages show in the intimate confines of the Live Girls! Theater. Doors open at 10:30 p.m. and there is a $5 cover.

Did anyone big show up friday night?
  • Thanks to everyone who came out last night to the show--especially the kind folks (most of whom found out about the show on this blog) who lined up outside an hour before the show! Remember, Lo-ball is every Friday night at Live Girls! Theater on Market Street--if you show up next week, you might even get a seat!
  • OK, I can tell you that almost everyone performing at Lo-Ball Friday will have some sort of TV credit, and one was in a MAJOR movie release last year. That's it! I've told too much!

All that for only 5 bucks! Hope you can make it, and tell your friends. Doors open at 10:30pm
