Monster Clothing, Source Salon now open

Posted by Geeky Swedes on August 30th, 2008

Here’s an update on our earlier posts about two new businesses moving into the Old Ballard area just a block apart from each other.

First, Monster Art and Clothing has now opened at Ballard Ave. and 20th Ave. The boutique featuring handmade products by “young upcoming artists.”

And Source Salon and Spa has opened in the prominent curved retail space at Leary and 20th Ave. It describes itself as a “modern boutique and gallery with a relaxing down to earth environment.” Their number is 789-4500.

I was just in Source my fiance bought me a gift certificate and it was amazing. The people were so friendly, I could tell they really cared about me!
I had a massage like none I have ever had before.
Also had a pedicure that was so relaxing and the colors were fun! Last but not least I had my hair done . I felt like a million bucks when I left there.
    I highly recommend Source.
  • Holly! Have you got an email? I'm interested in a possible consignment arrangement? I've got a clothing company that I run with some buddies in Beacon Hill called Harebrained.

I bought a sweatshirt at monster the other day and she was very nice. It's not normally the sort of stuff I wear but I did find something, which says a lot for the place.
  • Can't find a website for the Monster store. Anybody know if they've got one?
