Anita’s restaurant hopes to open next week

The chef behind the popular “Anita’s Crepes” stand at the Ballard Farmers Market, Anita Ross says she hopes to open her new restaurant on Sept. 18th, if all goes on schedule. Anita’s will feature some her favorite creations with a French flair — not just her famous crepes.

Anita’s is located on Leary just east of 8th Ave., next to the The Traveler.

They open Sept 15th per this blog http://blogs.seattleweekly.com/voracious/2008/0... not clear if they'll serve crepes in the evening as well or just during the day...

We just went to the Traveler at 8 p.m. last night, and they were serving their full menu -- salad, fries, mussels, sandwiches and the bistro steak.
