Updated: Less than six months after opening, Triple has closed its current location in search of another. The owners of Market Street Shoes and Market Street Athlete opened this hipster shoe boutique back in April in the space above Rudy’s and King’s Hardware on Ballard Ave. Ryan from Triple says that they’re in search of a street-level location with more visibility. The products that were sold at the shop will be available at their other two locations.

Business is going great at Trickwood, the skater shop we profiled a few weeks ago. They’re planning to expand into one of the rooms that Triple is vacating. Owner Steven Baldwin says Trickwood “is the talk of the middle school” and moms are coming in to buy their kids those hard-to-find skater shoes.
