A look at Ballard Blocks II

Posted by Geeky Swedes on October 3rd, 2008

With demolition underway on 46th St., construction on the Ballard Blocks II development is closer to a reality. Here’s what it will look like…

The building designed by Clark Design Group is pursuing the LEED-CS Silver Certification. There will be a high-efficiency HVAC system and a 12,000 square foot vegetated roof. The Ballard Blocks II buildings will fit in with the Ballard Blocks I buildings that are currently being built across the street. (Thanks Morgan for the link. Rendering courtesy: Clark Design Group)

This thread is "going south" fast, so to speak, so we're going to shut it down.
  • hater
But the South will rise again. What's your point?
  • Spaghettio
Whoah whoah whoah! No way was that a homophobic retort on my part. Any gal (or guy) can be on their knees. I don't know the gender of Strike...never been to the south by the way...
  • Ep
    Spaghettio got got.
  • dorian gray
Spaghetto, it's everyone's responsibility to help the less intelligent understand where they've gone astray, thats all Strike was attempting to do. But when you respond with homophobic retorts, we give up, requesting that you stay with the lowest common denominators of society -off the internet. Surely there is a fox news forum or "the south will rise again" web page for you to find comfort in.
  • Spaghettio
And YOUR position is to put me in my place? Or is it to always be on your knees?
  • strike
Spaghettio - Your position is tired and foolish.
  • DUR TUK UR BALLARD!
  • hater
Here come all the "I hate new Ballard"ites!!
  • Spaghettio
The girl and the guy in the corner look like they are having a luxurious time. Cuz Ballard is so swanky now...I bet their Range Rover is just sparkly and oh so fabulous! Gag.
  • Kara
That looks insane...I was wondering when they were going to start building over streets.
  • Ben
    Impressive.
