Trader Joe’s to open first half of next year

As we reported last week, the illuminated Trader Joe’s sign has been approved by the Department of Planning and Development. According to the Seattle PI, the store will open the first half of 2009 in the Ballard Blocks development at the corner of 14th Ave NW & NW 46th St. The spokeswoman would not be more specific. Somehow I don't think the name "Trader Joes" can be sleek-a-fied in any way.
It is what it is.
