New Obama t-shirts at Epilogue

Posted by Geeky Swedes on November 10th, 2008

Before the elections Epilogue Books sold “Ballard for Obama” t-shirts and bumper stickers that were wildly popular. Many Ballardites were disappointed to learn that the items quickly sold out. Now that the election is over, they’ve designed a new shirt. It has the same logo with Viking horns on a picture of Obama with a new slogan, “Ballard. Yes we can!”

Epilogue Books is starting a food drive to benefit the Ballard Food Bank. With each can of food you bring in you’ll get 10% off. The food bank is asking for anything, but holiday-type foods are especially needed.

I'm glad Obama's working with that great American Socialist Warren Buffet!

How is it weak minded to poke fun at a T-shirt graphic of the president elect?

Can an alter for goat sacrifice be far behind?
  • who cares
Who cares. I voted for Obama because he was the best of the two, but I am so sick of his cult-like followers and the "Dear Leader" dictator-style adoration he seems to "inspire" in the weak-minded.

Remember when Bush won in 2004 and they made those stickers that said "W - still the president"? THAT was annoying.

I used to work in a pretty conservative neighborhood so I saw a lot of them...arg.

By the way they have "O - the president" stickers on cafe press. Been a long time coming.

It could have been a shirt with McCain in some moose antlers with the caption "Oh no you di'n't!!" Ha Ha! (And yes - that was intentionally misspelled. )

  • HausFrau
Wha?!?! It's not like the shirts come with Potatis Korv and Lutefisk scratch and sniff tabs... Would it be more PC if somebody slapped the top of the space needle on his head and said "Seattle - yes we can"?
  • you are a racist!
