Writes My Ballard reader Jessica about an accident on Sunday night:

Last night at about 11 p.m. there was a car that crashed into the side of the funeral home at 57th & 20th. Huge fire truck and aid response. Seemed to take a long time to get the guy out and it looked like there may have been something like the Jaws of Life used. We live at that corner and saw what little we could from our window. Doesn’t seem like there is any real damage to the building. I was impressed with the response. The whole thing was cleaned up within two hours.
