Waste backs up on seafood ship

Posted by Geeky Swedes on November 21st, 2008

Updated: Crews on board a 300-foot fish processing vessel called the Seattle Fire Department and Coast Guard late Friday night after discovering water flowing inside. The Marine Emergency Response Team responded to the Icicle Seafood vessel, which is tied up on a dock just off the Fred Meyer parking lot.

But a short time later, firefighters told us that ship crews discovered that the water had originated from inside — from the sewer system.
