Slipping, sliding and falling cars

Posted by Geeky Swedes on December 22nd, 2008

In the parking lot between QFC and Walgreens at 15th and 85th:

“Ooops, guess that’s not a driveway,” quips My Ballard reader Jim, who sent us the photo. True enough, it’s hard to see where the roads blur with sidewalks, front yards and in this case, a nasty drop-off.

Jimmy shot a photo of it last night. “The situation was MUCH funnier yesterday,” he writes, pointing to the message on the windshield.

And there’s this car, which Sx2 in Flickr says slid into a snow bank on 65th and proceeded to get stuck. Notice the spatula as a snow removal device.

Look at how the car windshield is still covered in snow. I think someone pushed this car over the ledge. Probably that roving band of punks that everyone has been complaining about lately.

Or they didn't realize there was a drop off due to the snow, screwed their car, and then left it there where more snow piled onto it, covering the windshield.

Or maybe you just can't tell what happened from one photo.

I also love how the side of the truck in the background says "Crunch!" Crunch indeed!

Didn't notice the "crunch" the first time, azbat5 - that is funny...
