‘Root Table’ the latest new restaurant

Posted by Geeky Swedes on January 8th, 2009

An Asian-fusion restaurant named Root Table will open soon in the 2200 block of Market St. in the space once occupied by Floating Leaves Tea.

The owner of Enlighten, Kalan Intawong, will open Root Table in mid-January with an “eclectic menu” such as the Double-Fisted Duck, which is marinated in dark beer and Chinese wine, reports the food blog Voracious. The small plates will feature prices under $10. (Thanks Kirsten for the link!)
