Mandrakes last day this Sunday

Posted by Geeky Swedes on February 20th, 2009

After a total of 16 years in Ballard, Mandrakes Antiques is closing this Sunday.

Owner Craig Keister put up the big “Uncle” signs in the windows right after the holiday season, which he described as “a total flop.” This last weekend, Mandrake’s has antiques for sale at deep discounts, so stop on by.

It's really sad to see another Ballard business closing, but I have to agree with the rest of the folks who found their merchandise, although lovely, to be well beyond my price range. Good luck with your future endeavors Mr. Keister.

Sucks for him. I wished I made enough money to pay a thousand dollars for a dresser, but I don't. If I did have that kind of money, I'm still not sure I'd spend it on an antique dresser.

I wonder how much his overhead increased when he moved onto Market St. ??

Those prices were a joke, I'm not surprised.

We're so sad to see you go.

Will the last one out of Ballard please turn out the lights?
