Posted by Geeky Swedes on March 4th, 2009

The Leif Erikson Lodge is looking for their 2009 queen and princess. The Queen and Princess Scholarship Program awards two young women who represent the lodge as its royalty an award of $800 or $200 respectively. The scholarship committee chooses the winners based on academic performance and evidence of ability to succeed. The two must also be willing to participate in a variety of events at Leif Erikson Lodge. The queen must be between 16 and 22 years old, the princess award goes to a girl who is between 10 and 15 years old. More information on these scholarships is available here (.pdf). The scholarship committee is also looking for the recipient of the 2009 Youth Leadership Award. This scholarship is $1000. More info here (.pdf).

Well, you do get to wear a cool outfit in the Syttende Mai parade and $800 towards college is nothing to sneeze at!

Gooner, if say that I like men to do all of those things, will you call ME, or is that offer just open to blair?

I don't care if you can spell, but my car is dirty, my yard is a mess, and I could really use a stack of $20 bills right about now....let me know.

blair, you didn't finish your sentence...

if i like men to "what" ???

if i like men to "mow my lawn and do general maintenance for free?"

if i like men to "give me a stack of $20 bills?"

if i like men to "wash and wax my car?"

if i like men to "learn how to spell?"

there are just so many options. you have us all hanging. but you are going to have to complete your sentence before i call b/c i am not just going to call without knowing.
