100 free cupcakes at Cupcake Royale

When Cupcake Royale opens tomorrow (Wednesday), they’ll be handing out a free baby cake to the first 100 people. It’s all to promote the new flavor of the month, Honey Peanut Brittle. And no, it’s not an April Fool’s joke. Cupcake Royale opens at 6:30 a.m. (Thanks Katie for the tip!)

    nina - I wouldnt have believed that comment about Trophy being better until I went and now I totaly agree....AMAZING! There is a reason there is always a line.

    My guess is that Royale is trying to keep pace with Trophy...with reason.

    I love cupcakes..my wife makes the best..no need to get up that early..but I suppose the people who may be at the soup kitchens may beat me there anyway....thanks..I will sleep in..

    I would take a trophy nimble-sized cake rather than go to cupcake royal

    I tried one. It was good. Not exactly what I want out of a cupcake, but tasty nonetheless.

    Trophy cupcakes are really good, but really rich - I LOVE desserts and it is hard to finish one of their cupcakes. Cupcake Royale uses better frosting, and they are cheaper. I am also a sucker for the local places. I also think the people are friendlier at Cupcake Royale.

    I tried Trophy and while their cake is a little better, their frosting was just over the top sweet. I'll stick with Cupcake Royale...who also have kick ass coffee. :)

    I have to go with Trophy as well.

    Cupcake Royal's frosting was HORRIBLE. Not only that but when I walk though that door everyone look at me like "what are YOU doing here!". I guess I'm not hip enough for Royal. Although this flavor does sound yummy!
