‘Mystery cat’ is home safe tonight

Posted by Geeky Swedes on April 22nd, 2009

This afternoon we received an email from Jennifer at the Phinney Ridge Animal Hospital. She says a “mystery cat” was found near 57th and 11th with bite wounds on his face, neck and legs and taken to PRAH (pictured here.) She also posted the description of the cat in the forum. A couple hours later, a very observant Boxcar remembered a lost kitty poster and called the owners. Jennifer posted an update that Calvin the “mystery cat” was picked up by his owners this afternoon. “We love happy endings!” she writes. If you have a lost or found pet, the forum is a great place to post a message.

I am just glad everything turned out ok. I hope you all would keep your eyes peeled if I ever had to go chasing after my little troublemaker, too. (pictured in avatar)

This is one more reason why MyBallard.com and all the sister blogs are awesome, regardless of those mean, trolling commenters sometimes.

GeekySwedes, the animal hospital and the person who brought him there deserve the real credit.

He looks like a tough cookie! I'd hate to meet the animal that could give him a licking…

Boxcar, you rock. Just accept it. ;-)

The kitty rescuer, the vet staff member, and MyBallard, all rock too.

    Yay community!!!
