Well I am finalizing my trip to the wonderful city of Seattle to pund the city streets to help raise money for his plight and am calling out one last time for volunteers. To all that have already contacted me I will be getting to you with all the details no later than Tuesday befor I fly out. Thank you all for your kind words and support through this terrible ordeal. There is no excuse for that opinion, sorry, but many of us HAVE to be where there is trouble, and bar hopping is not the issue. The proper perspective is to have these areas rendered safe, for all.

I hope he pulls through. Then I hope he learns to stay at home on week nights with his kid. Seriously, if I had no health insurance and a kid to raise,the last thing I'd be doing is bar hopping in scum bag bars in Greenwood at 2am. But that's just silly, overly responsible, crazy me.

I'm really glad to hear this and I don't even know the family! But my daughter is Lillian's age so this has hit close to home.

I had a friend who had a traumatic brain injury years ago when we were hit by a drunk driver. She was in a coma for quite some time and unable to function at all at first upon waking up. But she did heal and has a normal life now and I'm holding on to hope that Todd will too - since I have seen recoveries from accidents this horrible. But it does take a very long time. Seeing the community come together like this is so amazing to see!

I hope they catch the guys who did this to him too. I worry now when my husband goes out at night. :(

To all the wonderful people who have expressed love and compassion for my brother Todd and his daughter Lillian you have mine and ALL of my families deepest gratitude and appreciation. I am organizing a fund raiser while in Seattle from the 6th of may thru the 11 th. The goal I have set is %50,000.00 to help Todd and Lillian and I believe there are 1000 people who can help out with $50.00. If you would like to help out in any way by volunteering you may contact me at the email address in the article or by donating to the TODD BOETTGER RELIEF FUND at any US Bank. Although Todd has made a few huge steps the next ones we will have to practice "patience" This experience has been and continues to be very emotionally hard and draining to all of our entire family and we are all pulling for Todds recovery. Again I want to thank the Emerald City and all the caring people who live there.

Good to hear he's mending, although I'm sure this will be a long, difficult process. Still, it's a great first step. I'll kick in a contribution for the fund.
