Sorry I can't make it to the event. It's family day for my wife and 4 kids and I hope you can understand the importance of carving out private time for our family as well as legislative work. I care a lot about this vital issue for our community and am grateful that Sen. Kohl-Welles and Rep. Dickerson will be there in force.

I can't tell if the health care reform event is advocacy for something specific or just a general “we need to change things” forum. Sounds more like the former, but it's unclear exactly what they are advocating…
