Just in time for the Seafood Fest, Swedish Medical Center has launched a new ad campaign with colorful signs along Market Street.

Sassy Swede sent us this photo and says, “It really looks great — and the text is pretty clever too!” There are a couple different signs. The others say, “Ballard: We have our own Leif Erikson statue and our own surgeons. He was good, but could he perform an appendectomy?” and “Ballard: We have our own locks and our own birthing center. One is better for a picnic.” According to Ben in comments, the artwork is the brainchild of Michelle Yang, a designer at Ballard’s Turnstyle. They partnered with Worker Bees and Swedish to create the artwork.

Turnstyle do fantastic work! They also handled the design for DRY Soda.

Swedish Ballard – where the ER physicians services aren't covered if you have Premera, because while the hospital facilities are in-network, the Ballard Emergency Physicians aren't.

My idea was “Ballard, come for the condo's! Stay because to the traffic.”

Ballard Emergency Physicians has recently reached agreement with Premera. Both Swedish Medical Center and the Ballard Emergency Physician group are now participating providers for Premera medical insurance programs.
