If cooking in this heat doesn’t sound good, have someone else cook while helping a local cause. Tomorrow night is the first-ever “BBQ at the Marina” to benefit the Seattle Fishermen’s Memorial. Mark Smith and Darrell McManus are hosting the event which features Smokin’ Pete’s BBQ and music of “Sour Mash Stevedores.” The event is sponsored by Fishermen’s Finest, Garvey Shubert Barer, Smith Law Partnership, AutoVenture, Freezer Longline Coalition, and Anderson’s Door Co. The benefit starts at 7 p.m. at Corinthians Yacht Club at Shilshole Marina. There is a minimum $25 suggested donation which gets you food, wine, beer and soft drinks.
