Since we really don't know, it could have just been asleep at the wheel after working a late shift, but drunk isn't exactly out of the question.
Either way, let's hope he's ok soon and this is just a lesson learned and not a life changing injury. Lucky nobody else was killed or hurt.

Inefficient, but effective.

You know, of course, that they actually *cut* the tops off of cars with an amazingly sexy power tool called the “Jaws of Life.” I got to see one at the Seafood Festival. Hope that's the closest I ever get to one. ;-)

Hey – here's a fundraising idea for SFD: $10 lets you use the Jaws of Life to cut pieces off of a dead car! Way cooler than the sledgehammer I got to use at the Wallingford Wurst festival, and probably safer than darting between cars at stoplights with boots in your hands!

it seems like they're always sawing off the tops of cars.

if I ever want a convertible, I just need to drive into a large, stationary object and wait for SFD to arrive.
