Apply now for funding through Neighborhood & Community Arts program. The Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs offers the funding to community groups with recurring neighborhood arts or cultural events. Community-based groups and neighborhood arts councils that have been around for at least one year are eligible to ask for financial assistance. In 2009, 37 organizations received $1,200 to support production-related expenses such as marketing materials and venue rentals. Funds cannot be used for fundraising or administrative expenses.
