Update: We heard from Dante first thing Saturday morning who tells us the filming tomorrow has been canceled. The producer for the show says the crew, who is based in Vancouver, does not wish to venture down with the chance of inclement weather. They might try again next weekend, but as Dante says, the weekend after Thanksgiving is usually slow at the Market.
Previous story:Dante Rivera says he won’t be getting much sleep on Saturday night. That’s because come Sunday he’ll be the center of attention. The Food Network will be shooting a show on street food at Sunday’s Farmers Market which will include Dante’s and his Inferno Dogs and the folks from Veraci Pizza. I guess this “Vancouver” crew is actually from LA.
I don't remember hearing about bad weather, but there were what, well over 20 vehicles waiting in the Les Schwab parking lot yesterday, and the wait was 2hrs. The guy at the counter said customers were saying snow was forecast, but he didn't know when.
That's too bad that the crew cancelled. If they reschedule for the following weekend, I'll do my best to get down there.

A lot of vendors take the weekend off after Thanksgiving. In fact, for many it's their only weekend off the whole year.
Canadian crews are pussies. Except for the ones that will go snowboarding in the epic powder at whistler. but the rest of the canadian crew are pussies.

TV is a money making bizo and really the shows just want to sell ad space. Who wants to watch it rain at a farmer's market? Just us in Seattle, me thinks.
