BHS marching band to kick off holiday season

The Ballard High School marching band will help Seattle kick off the holiday season at the Macy’s 24th Annual Holiday Parade in downtown. “Calling all Beavers to wear your Red and Black and find a spot on the parade route to cheer our great Ballard High School Marching Band, always a crowd favorite at the Macy’s Parade,” Kathy emailed us. On average, she says, the band is invited to march about every other year. The parade starts at 8:45 a.m. at 7th & Pine and ends at the Macy’s store. (Thanks Kathy for the note!)

  1. I've heard & seen them marching up and down the streets near the school. Looks like they're working hard and they sound good! Keep it up, BHS Band!

  2. Remember Olympic Manor, North Beach, and Blue Ridge familes: don't go to the parade to support BHS marching band. It's not our school!
