My dad made the pickled herring and lutefisk. Many items were imported from Norway along with the fish cake machines that my folks made fish cakes on. Ballard hospital and several restaurants and old people's homes ordered them. Yummy.<br>I graduated from Ballard High school and married my high school sweetheart. We've been married 51 years. Hey, Ballard was full of Norwegians, not just Swedes…Did you know that?
