The third-annual Celebrate Seattle Summer Streets program returns to downtown Ballard on May 21st.

The event is sponsored by Cascade Bicycle Club. Summer Streets is intended to get people out of their cars and discovering their neighborhood and its businesses by walking or biking. This event is also the culmination of the annual Bike to Work Day. Once again this year, 22nd Ave NW will be closed between Market St. and Ballard Ave. from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with plenty of activities in the street and Bergen Place Park.
