The InBallard Merchants Association is gearing up for another summer-long “Tuesdays in Ballard” campaign.

The merchant kick-off meeting is Wednesday, May 12th at the Ballard Community Center (6020 28th Ave NW). Mixer starts at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting starts at 7 p.m. On the agenda will be ideas for this summer’s events.

Last summer, the InBallard Merchants Association debuted the “Tuesdays in Ballard” marketing campaign to get shoppers to come spend money in Ballard. Seattle Magazine named the campaign the “Best organized effort to shop locally” in the “Best of 2009″ issue.
