Popular food writer at Ballard Library tonight

Molly Wizenberg, author of the award-winning food blog Orangette and co-owner of Ballard’s own Delancey, will be promoting the paperback release of her book “A Homemade Life: Stories and Recipes from My Kitchen Table” at the Ballard Library (5614 22nd Ave NW). From 6:30 to 7:30 this evening, Wizenberg will read from her book and answer questions.

Wizenberg is a freelance writer who is a regular contributor to Bon Appetit magazine. Her writing has also been featured on NPR.org and PBS.org. Wizenberg has degrees in human biology, French, and cultural anthropology. She left the world of academia in 2005 to write full-time.

Wizenberg’s appearance is a collaboration between the library and Secret Garden Books (2214 NW Market St.) (Thanks Lisa for the tip!)
