The Loyal Heights Community Center is starting new monthly workshops focused on eco-building. The first workshop will be held this Saturday, September 18th at the center (2101 NW 77th St) from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The featured speaker is Robert Burns, a licensed contractor that promotes the use of non toxic building materials.

Next month’s workshop will be on October 10th at 1:30 p.m. The speaker, Aaron Campbell of Campbell Energy will talk about home energy audits.

Each workshop is $3 per family.
