Neighborhood throws first-ever Kids’ Art Walk

The Blue Ridge neighborhood spent a beautiful evening enjoying art created by neighbor kids.

“My five year old, Carl, came up with the idea,” Michele Osborne tells us. “He was not too happy to see me pack away his art from the year. ‘Let’s have an Art Walk, Mom!'” And the idea was born.

On Friday evening, kids from about ten families in the neighborhood displayed their art work for everyone to see. “It was so nice to see the range of ages of kids participating, and the diverse variety of work showing their amazing creativity,” Osborne says. “I thought this was a great way to celebrate the effort the kids devoted to their projects. I hope it inspires them to keep it up.”
