The Kolstrand Building (4743 Ballard Ave NW) is celebrating it’s first anniversary since the major remodel and they’re throwing a party open to the public.

This Sunday from 3 to 9 p.m. in the back parking lot of the building, there will be live music, grilled oysters, raw oysters, Rain Shadow Meats hot dogs and sausages, beer, wine, oyster farmers, an amateur shuck-and-slurp competition and much more.

The party is free, but food costs range from $2.50 to $5. All proceeds benefit the Puget Soundkeeper Alliance
