Four-year-old Charlie insisted that there was an owl in a tree in their Sunset Hill yard. Charlie is learning about nocturnal animals so his dad, Steve, figured it was probably just a woodpecker or another bird.

“But wow, it was a large Owl! About 10 feet from the window sitting in our Ginkgo tree,” Steve writes. He says it was 16 to 18 inches tall and he believes it is a Barred Owl. “Very cool, never seen one before. Good job Charlie!” he says.
