Coming up later this month, designers will once again meet with the Design Review Board at a public meeting to show the board updated schemes and answer questions the board had at the Early Design Guidance (EDG) meeting earlier this year. According to the meeting minutes (.pdf,) “The Board reminded the development team that this was really a big building and the importance of choosing materials that would be attractive to both dwellers and neighbors and that could be well maintained by the owners. The Board would like to see a materials board presented at the Recommendation meeting which illustrates both the materials and colors proposed.”

The proposed development is a seven-story building with 305 residential units, 12,200 square feet of retail and parking for 407 vehicles at and below grade. Five buildings will be demolished. The Spirit gas station on the corner of 24th and Market is not part of this project.

The Design Review Board meeting will be Monday, October 25th at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited to offer comments and concerns.
