Next Friday is Veterans Day, a day set aside to say “thank you” to those who have served in the military.
The Ballard Elks will honor veterans at their annual Veterans Day dinner on Friday, November 11th. The dinner is free for vets and by donation for non-vets. Social hour starts at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 p.m. The menu includes tri-tip beef steak, smoked chicken, and sole(fish), mashed potatoes and veggies.
After dinner they will toast the different branches of the military, then open the floor for guests to toast friends and family.
You don’t need to be a member of the Elks to attend, but they would appreciate an RSVP – 206-784-0827.
