It’s a Christmas tradition that spans more than six decades and tonight is Ballard’s chance to enjoy the Argosy Christmas ships.

The Spirit of Seattle will be aglow when it departs Shilshole Bay Marina at 7 p.m. The ship, along with the parade of boats following will get to the Ballard Locks at 8:10 p.m. where bystanders will be serenaded by The Dickens Carolers.

After the Locks the parade heads to Golden Gardens Park where people gathered around bonfires will enjoy a 20 minute concert at 9:05 p.m.
