The Ballard High School Jazz Band has been invited to the Essentially Ellington Festival at Lincoln Center in New York City in May, and as a part of the festival, the Lincoln Center sends out clinicians to the 15 schools invited to the festival. Tonight, from 6 to 8 p.m. at BHS, jazz trumpeter Marcus Printup will conduct a clinic for the jazz band. The public is invited to watch at the BHS auditorium.
Marcus Printup will also visit Roosevelt and Mountlake Terrace high schools this week.
