On the fourth Thursday of every month, Romanza Gifts ( 2206 NW Market St) in Ballard hosts an event for a local charity. This Thursday, April 26, the store will host their “Spring Fling” from 6 to 8 p.m., and will give proceeds to WestSide Baby, a nonprofit that, according to their website, “collects previously owned items for children and babies and distributes them free of charge to South King County families in need.” All day on Thursday, Romanza will be accepting cash donations, pull-ups and disposable diapers for the charity.
The event will also feature free wine and olive oil tastings; Seattle’s Quintessential Gourmet will have olive oil and balsamic vinegar tastings, and Saviah Cellars from Walla Walla will be offering wine tastings. The store is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m..
