This Sunday, June 24 from 2 to 6 p.m., Sustainable Ballard and the Sunset Hill Community Association are hosting a Solstice Party and Solar Fair at the Sunset Hill Community Clubhouse (3003 NW 66th St.).
In addition to celebrating the solstice, the fair will give attendees an opportunity to learn about local solar energy, with information on community solar, solar cooking, plans for local solar substation, and music, food and games. Some of the featured exhibits will be from Puget Sound Solar, Sunergy Systems, Silicon Energy, and more.
